It is our pleasure to sell directly to you at the regions farmer’s markets. This allows us the opportunity for customer education about culinary tradition, flavor, variety, growing practices, recipes, storage, and customer as co-producer systems.
We grow many heirloom varieties of crops, including carrots, beets, radishes, turnips, cucumbers, melons, beans, squash, broccoli, kale, collards, peppers, eggplants, tomatoes, apples, raspberries, pears, shallots, leeks, garlic, and all manner of lettuces and salad greens including radicchio, endive, and escarole. You can see many photos of our produce on facebook.
Our customers are often curious about why their produce lasts so much longer and has flavor like nothing at the grocery store. It’s because of our enriched soils and the very short traveling distance of our vegetables and herbs to your plate!
Look for us from June through December at Boyne City Farmer’s Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and at Petoskey’s on Fridays. At this time we do not sell on-site, however, if you really get a craving for a salad made with our infamous cutting mix, chances are several area restaurants will be serving our greens!
